DIY superfan gives kitchen a rose gold makeover using B&M, Dunelm and B&Q bargains
An interiors fan with a flair for style transformed her kitchen into a girlie paradise – including employing a clever make-up brush hack to make glittery pink tiles
A mum has given her kitchen a dreamy blush pink and rose gold makeover.
Danyel Brennan shared a series of stunning photos of her spotless kitchen in a popular DIY group.
In the pictures, she showed off the glamorous pink wallpaper and designer-style chairs.
Even the electricals and accessories perfectly matched the blush aesthetic.
Posting in the Facebook group DIY on a Budget UK, Danyel said:
So just finished my kitchen today. Colours: blush pink/ grey/ rose gold/white.
Sharing to give people a bit of inspiration.
Danyel shared with the Daily Star Online exactly where she bought her materials and accessories from so you can attempt your own DIY too.
First thing’s first, the stunning wallpaper was bought from Dunelm for just £8.
She also covered her worktops in white Fablon which you can snag from B&Q for £5.
And her pine cupboards were painted grey – we’d recommend the Frenchic range which costs from £6.95 per tin.
The home interior fan bought her table from Next and her chic chairs from TK Maxx. On the table is a cute plant which Danyel bought from Sainsbury’s.
The rug was bought from B&M and the door handles from B&Q. Danyel also made the hanging lights herself.
To make her backsplash tiles pink, the DIY fanatic painted them. Lastly, the DIY fan bought the glitter from B&Q.
For the tiles, I painted them white and then took a a makeup brush and dabbed glitter on them while the paint was still wet.
Facebook users were astonished by the makeover and the post saw almost 2,000 likes and 300 comments.
One person commented: “This is absolutely gorgeous!
“You’ve done it up beautifully and I LOVE your cupboard door handles! Lovely finishing touches.”
“That is stunning,” added another.
